This historic tea is believed to have been named after Earl Charles Grey, British Prime Minster (1830-34), after he received a gift of tea flavoured with bergamot oil. TEA ORIGIN: INDIA. This tea is grown in Nilgiri hills or Blue Mountains at about 1800m above sea level. The infusion is amber coloured with a smooth flavour.
