This can be used in kettles, water tanks, electrical water boilers and other appliances which heat water.
Just place directly in the water chamber and use the device as normal.
All the limescale will deposit on the lime-catcher as opposed to the inside of the tank. When the limescale has built up a lot, just soak your lime-catcher in vinegar and watch the limescale dissolve. Rinse well after soaking and then go again. You may also find the limescale deposits can be removed by squeezing it.
