A fresh toothpaste with simple ingredients and no SLS. Waken have created a nearly plastic free, recyclable and affordable toothpaste which is also uncoloured and contains safe natural ingredients. They do fluoride only options. If you want fluoride free we recommend Ben & Anna or Truthpaste.
The packaging:
- Plastic lid and screw mechanism? We spoke with Waken about this and the screw mechanism was added to stop the aluminium rubbing off onto your brush when you apply. It can be left on when recycled as it gets burned off in the process. The lid is best removed and put into recycling. We discussed this isn't the best solution with Waken but there isn't a more feasible option for them at the moment due to the aluminium seal having to have 2 layers.
- The aluminium tube is widely recycled with the lid removed. An effort should be made to remove as much toothpaste as possible before leaving for recycling.
Directions:
Apply a pea sized amount to a toothbrush, brush gently using small circles for 2 minuted and spit out the toothpaste after.
Use recommended only for ages 7+ (we do sell a lower fluoride formula for children here)

Aqua, Sorbitol, Hydrated Silica, Glycerin, Lauryl Glucoside, Xanthan Gum, Aroma, Disodium Pyrophosphate, Tetrapotassium Pyrophosphate, Sodium Fluoride, Sodium Saccharin, Allantoin. Contains: Sodium Fluoride (1450 ppm F).
