Red cedar has a fragrant aroma that is pleasing to people but repels moths.
How to use:
- Place up to 5 cedar blocks in a wardrobe or drawer so that they are not covered by clothes: this will repel moths in a very natural way.
- After a few months you can refresh your blocks as the aroma fades by sanding lightly, wiping off the dust and leaving again to draw out more oils.
Red cedar, "Juniperus Virginia", is a widely available tree which is grown and processed sustainably. It is totally safe and does not harm moths, they just dislike the aroma which keeps them away from your clothes.
